Our client is widely celebrated for introducing artisan West Coast coffee culture to the UK while championing rigorous ethical sourcing and small-batch roasting. They are now looking to recruit a Compliance Lead to support the coordination and delivery of ESG, product compliance, quality, environmental, and health & safety standard.

The successful candidate will help ensure that sustainability and compliance requirements are translated into practical, embedded ways of working across the business, supporting teams to operate in a way that is consistent, efficient, and always audit-ready.

Key Responsibilities will include:
• ESG & B Corp Coordination – Support the coordination of B Corp recertification and ongoing improvement initiatives
• BRCGS, QMS & Compliance – Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the BRCGS framework and Quality Management System (QMS)
• Environmental Management (EMS – ISO 14001) – Support the coordination and ongoing development of the Environmental Management System (EMS)
• Health & Safety (H&S) Coordination – Support the coordination of health & safety processes and systems across the site
• Supplier Coordination & Compliance – Coordinate supplier onboarding processes to ensure compliance with quality, ESG, and regulatory requirements
• Product Compliance & Data Readiness – Support product compliance processes, documentation, and supplier requirements
• Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement – Support the coordination of an integrated compliance approach across ESG, BRCGS, EMS, and regulatory requirements
• Training, Culture & Engagement – Support delivery of ESG, QHSE, and compliance training, including new starter inductions and refresher sessions

Skills & Experience:
• Experience in a sustainability, ESG, compliance, quality, environmental, or H&S role
• Working knowledge of BRCGS standards and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Exposure to Environmental Management Systems (EMS), ideally ISO 14001
• Experience supporting audits, compliance processes, and documentation control
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into practical actions
