This is a real opportunity to emphasise key experience or to show what you are passionate about.
Recent work experience to come first – highlighting all the transferable skills you have gained that will suit the role you are applying for – don’t forget to include softer skills you have gained around leadership, people management, teamwork etc rather than just a list of technical skills gained.
If you are a graduate then your education will likely come first on your CV – so do highlight a project or module that you were particularly interested in or proud of. Once you have gained work experience then this should then appear first on your CV with education coming afterwards.
Check for spelling and grammatical errors – don’t just rely on AI to do this.
Last but definitely not least, your CV should be tailored to each role you are applying for so as to accentuate the reasons why you would be the best candidate for the role.
